Jason Kennedy is a visual artist who is known for capturing the people of The Caribbean in painted portraits. The content of his artwork is what is most important to him, with his style being considered secondary. When coaxed, he describes his technique as “a loose composite of realism and impressionism,” but the message and the emotion depicted in the subjects in his work are his real focus. His art is an expression of his experiences with meeting people while living in the Cayman Islands, and his travels throughout the Caribbean.

Shout out to all of the ladies who are mid-journey. The working women who push extra hard to make headway. The mothers who haven’t had a good night’s sleep in ages. The grandmas who are the keystone of the family.
All of the women who hustle and stay strong when their journey will only ever be truly understood by themselves.
Models come in many forms. I’ve seen this guy (always on his bike) riding around Cayman for as long as I can remember. This little guy had the most mischievous grin. I’m not sure whether or not he was supposed to have his mom’s phone at this time, but he wasn’t giving it back any time soon.
