Chicago-based, Haitian painter, Olivier Jean-Daniel Souffrant’s first solo exhibition shows us the complexity of narrative, its layers and hidden stories through a rich and lively series. Entitled ‘Tim Tim? Bwa Sèch’, this is a saying that Haitians say before reciting a riddle or folklore. Souffrant’s new body of work is an invitation for a personalised story: the longer you look, the more your story unfolds. The series is available at Kravets Wehby Gallery in New York.
