Arnaldo Roche Rabell est un peintre portoricain néo-expressionniste dont l’œuvre symbolique traite des questions d’identité nationale, d’appartenance et de traumatisme d’enfance. Né à San Juan, Porto Rico, en 1955, Roche Rabell a étudié l’architecture à l’Université de Porto Rico avant d’obtenir son MFA à la School of the Art Institute of Chicago en 1984. L’artiste vit et travaille actuellement à Porto Rico. Ses œuvres font aujourd’hui partie des collections du Metropolitan Museum of Art de New York, du Miami Museum of Art, du Museum of Fine Arts de Houston et du Museum of Contemporary Art de San Juan, à Porto Rico, entre autres.
